![]() Can you guys tell me, have you ever had such problems? Do you think I have a factory defect? Such a strange and not smooth workflow on such a mac is very sad for me. If I uncheck the "use high-performance graphics" menu, everything also slows down (probably because animations are processed by an integrated one and not a discrete graphics card), but you can use the computer somehow, because those terrible brakes come only when using a discrete one. All of this happens in high-performance graphics mode (in the battery settings) and repeats both when connected to the network and without it. In order for these terrible lags to stop, you need to make a reboot and then everything works more or less again (not smoothly, but at least it is possible to work with). Even using the touchpad is difficult because of animations and gestures lag. For example, laggy scaling of even the simplest applications (notes, messages) constant brakes and jerky animations in the system itself (while minimizing applications or scrolling safari pages on YT) my macbook awakes from sleep for 10-15 seconds (when i open the lid), and the most critical thing for me, when I am working in the Logic for 30 minutes or more (on even a light project that does not load the system at all), the loggic itself and the whole system become terribly laggy. ![]() ![]() But all these two years I've been noticing incredible lags on Catalina. I bought mine (2019 16inch) two years ago (top end i9 32 RAM 1TB amd5500 8 GB). For all of you who have Macbook from 2017-2019 with discrete graphics card - I have a question.

Regardless of habitat preference, white rhinos seek out areas with mud holes. Grasses are the white rhino’s favorite food, and they cannot live in habitats without it. With the end of the Microsoft Office brand for the Microsoft 365 branding in three months time, many of us now have to use either WordPerfect Office, OpenOffice or LibreOffice. With this new change coming in January next year, this makes Office 2021 the final release to bare the old-school Office name, which probably marks the end of the Office suite in its original Windows and macOS desktop application form in favor of the subscription-based stuff Microsoft has been promoting and selling since the 2010s, similar to how Adobe has been promoting and selling their Creative Cloud subscription service after the discontinuation of their Creative Suite software.Īnd I don't know what is ever going to happen to any of the major and minor Office applications (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, Publisher, Visio, Project & Teams) after the January 2023 rebranding next year, well just have to wait and see what comes out. After 32 years, Microsoft is finally retiring the Office brand name and replacing it with their Microsoft 365 branding. 2/28/2024 0 Comments Cheapest coolant near me![]() If the fluid is low just top it off, but it's essential to use the type specified for your vehicle to avoid damage. ![]() The process is similar in that you'll remove the dipstick or check the markings on the reservoir. Like with other fluids, look for either a dipstick or reservoir in the engine bay. There's no set timeframe on when power steering fluid needs to be replaced, but you should still know how to check it. Can you imagine trying to parallel park? Modern cars have upgraded to power steering to make maneuvering easy at any speed, and many power steering systems are hydraulic, using pressurized fluid to make turning the wheel effortless (though some newer models now rely on electric streering). If you've ever driven a classic car, likely the first things you noticed was the super heavy steering. Before you add coolant, make sure it's a type approved for your vehicle and give the radiator a few minutes to "burp" out any trapped air bubbles before you put the cap back on. If it doesn't, open the radiator cap to see if the coolant is filled up to the top. If your car has a coolant expansion tank, look to see if the coolant falls between the minimum and maximum indicators on the tank. The process to check coolant varies from car to car. Always wait for the engine to cool completely before checking the coolant. Pressurized coolant can spray and cause burns. Warning: Never check your coolant while the engine is hot. You only have to check this fluid every 50,000 miles or so, but if there's a leak or other issue it's important to know how to top it off. Maintaining the correct coolant level prevents overheating. Coolant (also known as antifreeze) works to keep everything, well, cool, by absorbing engine heat and dissipating it through the radiator. With all the combustion and friction that happens in an engine, it produces a lot of heat. If it's a darker coffee color or black, it's time for an oil change, and if you see a milky color that means coolant is leaking into the engine. If it's a yellow or amber color, you're good to go. It should feel slick and smooth – if you notice any particles or grittiness, components are likely wearing down, which is a major issue.Īlso look at the color of the oil. Smear the oil on the dipstick between your fingers. ![]() To check it, you're going to have to get your hands dirty. Oil level is one thing, but its condition is equally important. A low reading could indicate your engine is leaking or burning oil, which can cause damage if left untreated. If it's at or below the minimum, add more immediately. The oil on the dipstick should be near maximum. The dipstick is marked with maximum and minimum indicators that show how much oil is in your engine. First, pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a towel or rag. It's best to check your oil after your engine has been turned off for at least 10 minutes so the oil can settle at the bottom and cool off. Most cars have a dipstick in the engine bay which lets you quickly inspect the oil. Engines components spin thousands of times a minute, and it's oil that keeps everything moving smoothly. Engine OilĪfter fuel (unless you have a fancy EV), oil is your car's most important fluid. Here's how to check the six essential fluids in your car. Through the Planetary Society’s “Red Rover Goes to Mars” outreach effort, astrobot mini-characters named Biff Starling (on board Spirit) and Sandy Moondust (on board Opportunity) blogged about their journey to Mars during the initial stages of the mission. ![]() Each rover included construction bricks and an image of an “astrobot” (astronaut robot) brick character affixed to the spacecraft, as well as a CD with a digital list of names from the “Send Your Name to Mars” contest. Soon after the Mars rovers got their names, NASA launched Spirit and Opportunity from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The LEGO Group constructed a life-size model of the NASA Mars Exploration Rover, displayed at several museums, conferences, and public events to promote the “Name the Rovers” competition and the Mars mission. Each DVD carried the names of about 4 million people to two different locations on Mars that, over the course of the rovers’ years-long journeys, would each reveal signs of ancient water, a key ingredient for life as we know it. The LEGO Group also helped NASA to provide an opportunity to “Send Your Name to Mars” on a mini-DVD on board each of the twin rovers. NASA selected the names “Spirit” and “Opportunity” through a student essay contest that drew nearly 10,000 entries. The LEGO Group teamed with the Planetary Society and NASA’s Mars Public Engagement Program to execute a NASA contest to name the Mars Exploration Rovers. In addition to lesson plans and teacher guides, the series features weekly videos that introduce the LEGO Space Team and their NASA Artemis I team counterparts, helping students better understand STEM space careers and the knowledge and skills that go into completing successful space missions. Through open-ended lessons, students will get hands-on experience and solve problems similar to those the Artemis I team members face as they build toward launch. Four LEGO minfigures will also fly aboard Orion, packaged along with other mementos selected by the agency to fly on Artemis I, to further connect and engage kids with the educational series and highlight NASA careers. In addition to providing inspiration for several NASA-themed sets over the past several years, NASA has recently partnered with LEGO Education to engage with thousands of educators and students through “Build to Launch,” 10-week digital learning series exploring the technology, STEM concepts and careers behind the Artemis I mission to the Moon. NASA and the LEGO Group have a long history of collaboration on projects that engage children and adults alike to encourage interest in STEM fields and space exploration. 2/28/2024 0 Comments Geode rock bookends![]() ANY CREDIT CARD THAT IS DECLINED WHEN CHARGED WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $25.00 FEE AND ITEMS MAY BE DEEMED FORFEIT AT AUCTIONEERS DISCRETION.
